At Hofgut Hermersberg we have been implementing the guidelines of the Demeter organisation since 1985. These are much stricter and more extensive than the EU directives concerning organic farming. The essential feature of a Demeter farm is that it operates biodynamically in a natural cycle in which people, animals, plants and the soil interact. The soil nourishes our cattle and our cattle keep the soil alive. So you enjoy the living energy of our products in addition to the organic quality.
